James Barnes Celeste Blackwell Fiona Gallagher Thor Odinson Leia Organa Steven Rogers Natasha Romanoff Anthony Stark Nomi Sunrider
These are a few of the names of people who have vanished from the Fleet for now as far as I can discern in the past 30 days or so. There have most likely been more, but hearsay and old-fashioned detective work are about all I have at my disposal here for such intel. Ironic really when one considers the magnitude of technology at our fingertips.
I'm not sure if this is a usual amount, higher or lower, but I have no one else to share my findings with.
Furthermore, quite a few people I've conversed with seem to have come here not directly from home but from another place that defies common reality the way this does. Some appear to have been altered similar to the 'augments' we receive here.
On an unrelated note, I don't think "modern women" appreciate my particular charms. It's disheartening and difficult to admit, but I'm afraid the Stark allure might well have an expiration date. Who knew.
-- Seems an oddly large amount, if you ask me. But in the spirit of full disclosure, that may be because I find myself knowing more and more members of the fleet. Perhaps the departures cut more keenly now than they used to.
I know a handful of people who were someplace else before this. Notably, some recognized me. Eerie -- I didn't much like it.
And as for "modern women"? Well, Howard, it seems the forward march of progress gets something right.
[ let's both just pretend certain names on that list aren't cutting holes in our hearts. ]
