It's not so difficult. And I've recently learned that it comes with quite an impressive pedigree. Apparently what took place at Bletchley Park's since been declassified. Winn was telling me about it.

Worked under, more like. Apparently he goes on to be quite the big muckity-muck in the field of whatever it is Winn does. Computation. Information technology. All that fuss. Professor Alan Turing. You know -- the chap who worked on breaking Enigma.

[ although steve lives a modern life now, she suspects these little touchstones of accomplishment from the war will be what best jogs his memory. ]

Beside himself. It was a little novel, I admit. I wasn't expecting him to even know what Bletchley was.

[ hell, she hardly mentions it with steve. not out of any concern or paranoia, but because it simply wasn't the done thing. the official secrets act had her hands tied. ]

You know, he's quite taken with your same movie. The Princess Bridge. Went so far as to invite me to watch it with him -- such a shame I'll be disappointing him.

You could always rewatch it. It's one of those films I feel you could watch at least a dozen times before it gets old.

I find myself not all that interested in sitting through a film with anyone else. Let alone for a second viewing.

those pumpkins will be great in a pie. I was telling winn the other day.

Why pumpkins, by the way? Is it because of Halloween?

When I went to see the ship wreckage in the woods with Nat, I found those giant pumpkins nearby. Figured I could plant a few and see what happens.

They're not growing to the same size, though. I think the soil must have done that back there.

Makes perfect sense. Different conditions could affect all manner of variables. But have you thought about what you might want to grow next?

If I could do tomatoes, I'd try for those.

Some flowers might be nice, too. for color and Hermione's herbs are useful. She makes potions out of them.

Flowers are just for show. Grow something useful. Grow raspberries.
