AIs used to be a theory in my world. JARVIS wasn't an AI, FRIDAY isn't either, she's a program. She can have conversations and even take initative but that's only because I programmed her this way, she works according to a script.

An AI is beyond script. We're talking a program that thinks, that can make their own decisions according to their own opinions. The only ones I've ever got to know were Ultron and Vision. Ultron was the first actual AI my world had seen - no thanks, I know. He took one look at the world and decided it's better to kill everyone and try again - but see - that's an opinion, that's an ability to make an informed decision. FRIDAY can't do that.
