Small favours. Silver linings. Tiny little mercies. It's unfortunate, I suppose, how often we're forced to look for those in the dim corners of every fresh hell.

...I suppose that means I ought to be more careful with what truths I chose to embellish when we talk to one another. How embarrassing to be caught in a lie about one's own life.
